Unveiling the Mystery: NC Medical Examiner Reveals Cause of Death for South Carolina Pastor’s Wife, Mica Miller
A South Carolina pastor’s wife tragically took her own life in Robeson County, North Carolina, according to a statement from the medical examiner.
Dr. Richard Johnson, the Robeson County Medical Examiner, disclosed that he was present at Lumbee River State Park on April 27, assisting the on-call medical examiner when they discovered the body of 30-year-old Mica Miller. Mica was married to John-Paul Miller, the pastor of Solid Rock Church in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Mica’s death sparked significant speculation once it was confirmed. Her husband initially characterized her death as a suicide, but doubts were raised by friends and family, who spoke of plans Mica had for the future. Records indicate that Mica and John-Paul were in the process of divorcing.
In the days following her death, two separate memorials were held concurrently to celebrate Mica’s life, one organized by her husband and the other by her friends.
Police records reveal that Mica had expressed fears for her safety in the month leading up to her death, believing she was being followed and monitored. A mechanic reportedly discovered a tracking device attached to her car.
